Agreement to Register

Every Psychology student must complete a Registration Agreement at the beginning of each year (12 months) of their enrollment in courses. The Registration Agreement confirms that the student has received and understood information about the program they are registering for, including the policies in the Academic Calendar, the Code of Honour, and their financial and administrative responsibilities.

This consists of four components:

1. Contact information

Accurate and up-to-date contact information is crucial so that we may notify you of important information. Privacy notice: Your contact information will be used only for course and school communication. ADLER personnel do not reveal the status of students, or even whether they are students, to anyone other than their emergency contact without written permission. Social insurance numbers are collected only for the purpose of issuing income tax receipts and are kept in secure electronic storage and locked files.

2. Confirmation of Program and Status

Students will be asked to confirm the program they were admitted to and the number of credits they intend to complete in the upcoming trimesters. The following program options are available:

  1. Provisional Acceptance into the Master of Psychology, contingent on completion of the courses in the Transitional Equivalency Program identified on their Offer of Acceptance
  2. Conditional Acceptance into the Master of Psychology Program. Students must achieve at a particular academic level for a period specified in their Offer of Acceptance.
  3. Full Admission into the Master of Psychology
  4. Full Admission into the Doctor of Psychology

3. Acceptance of School Policies

You will be responsible for knowing and following all School policies, especially those regarding Academic Honesty and Ethical Conduct.

4. Return the completed, initialed, and signed Registration Agreement

New students must complete their Registration Agreement before starting the pre-session course, PSY-510. Returning students must submit their Registration Agreement before their first class in the trimester the Registration Agreement is due. For Fall cohort students, this will always be the Fall Trimester. For Winter cohort students, this will always be the Winter Trimester.
