Paperless Documents Policy

Adler Graduate Professional School strives to be responsible in the way we use resources that impact environmental sustainability. While recycling is a good way to reduce reliance on paper in education, the reduction is preferable. As such, the school has instituted a paperless policy for staff, students and faculty.

The aim of the policy is not to eliminate the use of all printed materials but to reduce their use to only the most necessary and to ensure that the process of printing materials is done in a way that is manageable from an office resource and time management perspective.

Please note that the on-site office is closed on Mondays, so materials that are needed on Tuesdays should be sent at the latest before 2 pm ET on the previous Sunday. Student services are available by phone and email on Mondays.

Student Printing Policy

Except in the specific circumstances listed below, students should not print materials at the school. Students may not use the printer/photocopier and should be aware that if they are printing under the conditions listed below, materials should be sent by email to student services at least the day before they are needed. If students are given permission to print materials on the same day, they should be aware that student services staff may not be available to print the materials right away. Student services will let students know when the printed materials will be available for pick up.

Student Printing Conditions

Faculty require students to print a class handout. This must be within the class printing guidelines of a single class set, one US letter-sized sheet of paper, single or double-sided, in black and white ink. Class handouts cannot be printed on the same day.

Testing materials, such as scoring sheets, or other materials. These should be sent to student services a minimum of 24 hours before they are needed. If copies need to be made same-day, students should be aware that student services staff may not be able to print or photocopy right away, and they will notify students when the materials are ready to be picked up.

Students require a hard copy of an ADLER form or a government or practicum agency form related to their studies at ADLER. These forms can be printed same-day or emailed ahead of time and can be printed in black and white ink.

Additional copies of transcripts and letters must be ordered from the Registrar’s Office. Students cannot photocopy or reprint transcripts and letters in the office.
