Our fully ICF Accredited Coaching Courses can be combined in various ways depending on what you would like to do with your coach training and what type of credentialing you are looking for. We have programs well suited if you are looking to use coaching skills in your existing occupation or role, as well as a full training path to becoming a certified professional coach. Regardless of where you end up your journey begins with our Foundations of Professional Coaching course, offered as a week-long intensive or over 2 weekends. The Essential Coach
This is the essential program for individuals looking to fulfil the minimum training requirements for the International Coaching Federation's (ICF) credential of Accredited Certified Coach (ACC) using their Approved Coaching Specific Training Hours (ACSTH) application path - or for anyone adding coaching to their existing role. The program provides a solid understanding of the coaching competencies and professional, ethical, practice required by ICF. Basic, yet robust, the typical time frame to complete this program is approximately 6 months. Following the Foundations module, you can begin coaching towards the 100 client coaching hours, that, along with your training and mentor coaching hours, will fulfil the ICF requirement for taking the Coach Knowledge Assessment exam (CKA).
The Expert Coach
140 hours of Coach Specific Training
The Expert Coach program is for individuals who are looking to become skillful and expert professional coaches. Individuals who would be seeking the ICF credentials of Accredited Certified Coach (ACC), Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Master Certified Coach (MCC) using their Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) path. The Expert Coach program includes the three modules in the Advance Program, plus an additional 48 hours of training in the Practicum component, a total of 140 hours of coach-specific training. The practicum is a 6-month course with multiple components designed to enhance your coaching competencies and transition the student into the world of an active coaching practitioner. Seven hours of group mentor coaching is experienced in Practicum which can be counted towards the ICF credentialing requirements. Upon successful completion of Practicum, students are distinguished as an ATC – ADLER Trained Coach.
