Format
Adler’s Master of Psychology in Clinical Psychology (MPsy-PSY) program is entirely in person, at the Adler school in downtown Toronto, 890 Yonge Street, on the 9th and 10th floors.
MPsy-PSY classes involve lectures, presentations, examinations, discussions, and in-class activities and experiential exercises. In person participation in courses is mandatory.
Schedule
Adler’s Master of Psychology in Clinical Psychology stream has two schedule options:
- Weekends: courses scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays
- Weekdays: courses scheduled on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Classes take place during the day, typically from 9 – 5pm or 9 – 4pm, although this can vary slightly depending on the class.
Courses are scheduled throughout the year, including summers. There is a two-week Winter break at the end of December, and breaks for long weekends and holidays.
Applicants indicate their preferred program schedule on their application form. Students cannot change their program schedule after being admitted to the program. Space in both the weekend and weekday intake is limited. Although we do our best to place applicants in their preferred cohort, we cannot guarantee that applicants will get their first choice.
Program Course List
Note: Adler’s Master of Psychology program can be taken in two years, full time, or up to five years part time. This is the course list for the full-time program. Students taking a part-time courseload will work with the registrar’s office to develop an individualized registration plan. Not all courses are available every trimester. Students taking courses part-time may not be eligible for funding, depending on the number of courses they are registered for in a given trimester.
