Description
This is the second course in the 80-Hour, 2-course Certificate in Applied Internal Family Systems program. You must have completed IFS Part 1: Foundations of Practice before the start date of this course.
Cost: $1,950 + HST per course ($200 deposit required upon registration, remainder due two weeks before course start)
Delivery: Blended (Mixture of online content, virtual live instruction, supervised practice groups and reflective assignments)
Instruction Dates: Monday evenings + one full Monday Part 2: November 6 – December 18, 2023
Deeper Applications will introduce students to using the IFS model across various themes with others, such as interpersonal attachment, relational wounding, and working with parts through “trailheads” in the body. We will also learn how to form a strong therapeutic connection with clients, a critical aspect of support.

Time Required: 40 hours (Mixture of online content, virtual live instruction, supervised practice groups and reflective assignments)

- Discover best practices for using IFS within the context of trauma
- Learn about polyvagal-informed approaches to IFS

- Questions answered by seasoned IFS practitioners

Course Expectations:
- Complete pre-work in advance of the Live Teaching Day (2 hours)
- Attend the live teaching day with the large group / Faculty (6 hours)
- Complete 6 weeks of blended learning as follows (30 hours):
- 2.5 hours of live instruction online via Zoom that includes supervised practice groups (“SPGs”)
- 2.5 hours of self-directed learning
- Complete a final assignment with both professional and reflective practice exercises (2 hours)
