Become a psychotherapist in Ontario with Adler's MPsy

Adler's Master in Psychology in Psychotherapy and Counselling (MPsy-PTH)

• Hand’s-on, experiential psychotherapy training that turns theory in practice
• Recognized by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
• Two years full time or up to five years part time
• Blended training includes three week-long in-person intensives each year, with remaining coursework offered synchronously over zoom videoconference
• In-person classes take place at Adler’s downtown Toronto location
• Small cohorts of 18 students
• Learn from experienced professionals who bring their knowledge into the classroom
• Two intakes each year: Fall and Winter
• The MPsy program is approved for OSAP for eligible students (funding depends on each student’s financial situation – OSAP has a funding estimator available here)
• Students without a psychology bachelors can use Adler’s transitional equivalency (TEQ) program to bridge the gap

Adler’s MPsy program is offered under the written consent of the Ontario Minister of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security for the period from November 8, 2023 to November 7, 2028. Prospective students are responsible for satisfying themselves that the program and the degree will be appropriate to their needs (e.g., acceptable to potential employers, professional licensing bodies or other educational institutions).
