Graduate-level clinical psychology training in Toronto

Adler's Master of Psychology in Clinical Psychology (MPsy-PSY)

• Clinically-oriented, professional psychology training that turns theory in practice
• Prepares graduates to register as a psychological associate with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO)
• Graduates are eligible to apply for Adler’s Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology program, to pursue registration as a psychologist with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO)
• Recognized by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
• Two years full time or up to five years part time
• Fully in-person program, classes take place two days a week at the Adler school in downtown Toronto. Select a schedule preference when applying: weekdays (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
• Coursework includes in-depth training in psychological assessment, intervention, diagnosis, psychopathology, professional ethics, and more
• Small cohorts of 18-21 students
• Learn from experienced professionals who bring their knowledge into the classroom
• Two intakes each year: Fall and Winter
• The MPsy and PsyD programs are approved for OSAP for eligible students (funding depends on each student’s financial situation – OSAP has a funding estimator available here)
• Students without a psychology bachelors can use Adler’s transitional equivalency (TEQ) program to bridge the gap

Adler’s Master of Psychology program is offered under the written consent of the Ontario Minister of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security for the period from November 8, 2023 to November 7, 2028. Prospective students are responsible for satisfying themselves that the program and the degree will be appropriate to their needs (e.g., acceptable to potential employers, professional licensing bodies or other educational institutions).
